We celebrated Earth Day at Hugh MacRae Park, where we have live music, environmental exhibitors, a Green Market (where people can purchase items), a Kid’s tent with all sorts of activities and educational opportunities. We also have local and organic food and beer available. The best part is that our festival is always free! This year we had one of our largest turnouts with about 6,000 attendees.--Shannon Culpepper, chair of the Wilmington Earth Day Festival
